St. John’s Church opens its garden to prayer and poetry during the summer . . . Dates below:

The garden will be open regularly on FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS, JUNE to SEPTEMBER.  The normal hours will be 11.00am – 3.30pm.

Every FRIDAY from 12.15 – 12.45 there will be a ‘PRAYER in the GARDEN’ time when different people will select a favourite prayer and introduce it. These sessions begin on JUNE 2nd.

The first WEDNESDAY of each month from 6.30pm onwards there will be ‘POETRY in the GARDEN’ when people will talk about a poem or poems that seem particularly appropriate. The first will be on JUNE 7th.

FRIDAY June 23rd (the eve of St. John’s Day) COMPLINE at 6.30pm.

‘CHERISHING CHURCHYARDS WEEK’   3rd – 11th JUNE.  The garden will be open throughout the week.
